Microchipping
Mulnix Animal Clinic offers microchipping using the HomeAgain Microchip Identification System. Microchipping provides pets with a permanent form of identification via a unique code number that cannot be altered or lost.
The HomeAgain program offers the following, 24/7, with one phone call from you: contact all shelters and veterinary practices in your area, confirm the identify of your pet over the phone, create a 'lost pet' poster with pet photo, compile a list of shelters in your area, and mobilize a network of PetRescuers wherever you are traveling.
For more information on the HomeAgain program contact Mulnix Animal Clinic or visit www.HomeAgain.com or call 1-888-HOMEAGAIN.

Radiology (x-rays)
We have the latest computerized state-of-the-art radiology equipment for taking and developing x-ray films including dental x-rays. Films are processed automatically so results are known immediately. And a board-certified radiologist is available should additional consultation be required.

Surgery
All surgeries are performed using the safest techniques and equipment to ensure the maximum safety and comfort for your animal. We offer pre-surgical labwork and ECGs for all surgery patients. An anesthetic technician monitors the oxygen saturation, heart and respiratory rate, and blood pressure on every patient.
|
|
Laser Surgery
We are proud to offer this surgery and the many benefits it provides both during the procedure and in recovery. Because it cauterizes while cutting there is virtually no bleeding. Swelling and pain are minimized in post-operative care so pets are more comfortable.

Euthanasia
Inevitably, the time comes when, despite our best efforts, medical intervention can no longer keep your pet pain-free and comfortable. At that time, we feel that it is our responsibility to provide you with an objective evaluation of your pet's condition and compassionate counseling to help you determine the best course of action. We are available to assist you with arrangements that ensure both you and your pet receive the dignity and privacy you deserve.
When the time comes, please feel free to connect with pet loss support groups such as Pet Loss Grief Support that includes a grief support chat room or schedule an appointment with a counselor at the Argus Institute whose charter is to meet the emotional needs of pet-owning families.
