We know coming to a veterinary clinic can be quiet an experience for you and your pet.
In order to make it one that is as familiar and comfortable as possible when you do visit, we invite you to take a virtual tour with us:
Entrance
Our clinic front was remodeled in 2004 as part of an update to Cedarwood Plaza where we are located. You can easily spot us in the Southwest corner of the plaza.
Into the Clinic
When you walk through one of our two front doors you'll see a spacious, comfortable reception and waiting area.
Reception
You'll be greeted by one of our staff members who will help get you checked in and answer any of your questions.
Don't forget to sample a doggie treat
(for your pet!) or a piece of candy while you wait!
Our products are also displayed here - specialized dog and cat food that you can purchase or pre-order (you can even order from this site using Pet Portal!).
The Examination
Next your pet will be weighed and ushered into one of our three well-equipped examination rooms.
This is where the veterinary assistants, technicians, and doctor will listen to your
concerns, examine your pet, and make a diagnosis.
Make sure you check out the artwork on the walls - there are some funny (and some informative) items to keep you entertained.
Diagnostics
Should a test need to be run to determine treatment or prevention, Mulnix Animal Clinic maintains a state of the art diagnostic laboratory.
Complete blood counts, chemistry screens, urine analysis, fecal parasite exams, heartworm tests, leukemia
virus tests, and many other procedures can be performed in-house in a matter of minutes.
Should your pet require additional medical assistance they may be taken to our modern x-ray equipment area, our laboratory prep area, or our operating room.
Surgery Prep
If your pet does require surgery, they will be prepped by our veterinary assistants and technicians in a gentle and loving manner.
Surgery
Once in surgery, one of our doctors will ensure that the best possible care is taken to resolve the issue in question.
Our surgical unit is equipped with the latest technology and instruments and is extremely safe.
Post-op/On-going Care
After surgery your pet will transition to the recovery area.
There a calm, quiet, and soothing environment can be found to help transition your pet and wait for your return.
We will continue to care for your pet after surgery with any post-op rechecks.
The Back Office
After we see you, we continue to review your care, completing folders and reports and perhaps working with other entities in our busy back office. |
And that's our clinic! We hope this virtual tour helps you understand what to expect of your visit.
