Our Philosophy
Mulnix Animal Clinic is a full-service veterinary practice limited to small animals.

We have been in practice since 1963. Formerly known as Carlson Animal Clinic, Dr Mulnix purchased the clinic in 1982 and has been dedicated to keeping the clinic's tradition of excellent small animal service alive.

Through diagnostic evaluation and medical expertise we offer your pets quality, progressive veterinary medicine.

At Mulnix Animal Clinic, you'll find that we're devoted to providing you with exceptional services and friendly, compassionate care.

Our goal is to foster enduring relationships with both you and your pets to ensure the continued well-being of your animal family.

What Makes Us Special?
Our commitment, our concern, and our care help us stand out among veterinary clinics. When you and your animals visit, we take the time to listen first, ask and answer questions, share and discuss all results and findings, and provide instructions (and make sure you understand them!).

At Mulnix Animal Clinic you'll find a warm family atmosphere among our veterinarians, technicians, and support staff. And we extend that same friendly attitude to each of our clients.

What does it mean to be our patient?
Being a patient of our clinic means that we will provide your pets with the best veterinary care possible.

It means that we are committed to their health and well being 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. When an emergency arises, simply call our office number and you will receive information on emergency care.

Who are we?
Our professional and support staff are well respected in their field and are committed to improving their skills and staying abreast of new technologies, treatments, procedures, and drugs. Each one of us actively participates in a variety of conferences, training, educational, and professional opportunities to ensure that your pet has the advantage of the latest advances in veterinary care.

We also have relationships with other professionals for special services, such as ultrasounds, special dental procedures, and orthopedics.

Accreditations and Affiliations

  • American Animal Hospital Association

  • We are proud to be an accredited member of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), the world's leading association for small animal practitioners. Less than 14% of the small animal veterinary facilities in the United States and Canada are members of AAHA.

We have been a member in good standing since 1983 and maintain a regular accreditation cycle. Our facility is also evaluated regularly to make sure that we comply with AAHA's high veterinary care standards.

  • HESKA Laboratories

  • Our association with Ft Collins-based HESKA Laboratories gives us access to cost-effective, state-of-the-art diagnostic and testing services that are outside of our own capabilities. These include allergy testing, biopsies, bile acids, potassium bromide, and more. HESKA's proximity to our facility and our telecommunications capabilities make for speedy response.

  • Other Affiliations

  • We maintain relationships with a variety of other organizations, institutions, and veterinarians all in an effort to stay abreast of the latest in techniques, treatments, pharmaceuticals, and procedures. Meeting your animal's health needs cost-effectively is all part of our commitment to high quality care.

    Costs
While we know that your animal's health is your primary concern, we also realize that cost is a factor. Your veterinary bill reflects the costs of maintaining optimal facilities, equipment, and support personnel to ensure the high standard of care that is expected in veterinary medicine today.

    Fees and payment policies
It is our policy to keep you informed about the costs of various procedures. We are happy to provide you with a computer printout of all fees or cost estimates. In order to avoid any misunderstandings, we encourage you to discuss all fees with us before services are performed.

Our policy is to receive payment at the time services are completed. You may pay in cash or by personal check. If you prefer to make credit payments, we accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. You can also arrange for financing.

Thank you for your interest in Mulnix Animal Clinic. We welcome the opportunity to serve you and care for your pet.
