Surgery Laser surgery
Laser surgery minimizes bleeding, reduces pain and swelling and promotes more rapid healing. When your pet undergoes laser surgery, he or she will recover more quickly and face less post-operative pain. Laser surgery also is more precise and greatly reduces the risk of infection. Mulnix Animal Clinic is one of the few hospitals in the region that have this capability. Laser surgery allows us to do complex surgeries that otherwise might have to be referred to specialists.
Surgical procedures
In addition to performing routine surgeries such as spays and neuters, our highly-trained veterinarians can also perform advanced surgeries. These procedures include many orthopedic surgeries, including fracture repair, cruciate repair and luxated patella repair. The veterinarians at Mulnix Animal Clinic can also perform advanced ophthalmalic procedures, including repair of prolapsed third eyelid glands, conjuctival flaps and eyelid mass removal.
Counseling and treatment Behavior counseling
If your pet has behavior problems and standard training techniques are not solving the problem, behavioral therapy might help. We offer a range of pet behavioral therapy services, and our skilled staff is ready to work with you and your pet.
Nutritional Counseling
Just as with humans, obesity can be dangerous for your pet's health. We offer nutritional counseling services that will help you design and implement a weight-loss program for your pet.
Reproductive services
We have doctors with expertise in timing of ovulation, artificial insemination and insemination of chilled and frozen semen. In addition, we provide pregnancy diagnosis by ultrasound and treatments for infertility.
