Dear Clients and Friends of Mulnix Animal Clinic:

It is with profound sadness that we must inform you that our friend and mentor, Dr. John Mulnix, passed away peacefully on the morning of July 16th, surrounded by his loving family. We are extremely heartbroken and words cannot express our sadness with the passing of this great man. He has been a tremendous part of our lives as well as this community and touched the hearts of everyone who knew him. We are thankful to have had the true privilege to have known him and worked with him at Mulnix Animal Clinic, where he spent so much of the last 33 years fulfilling his passion to care for and love your wonderful pets. We are all going to miss his compassion, love for learning and teaching, trivia questions, jokes, smile and endless amount of expertise and skill.

We can only hope to carry on the tradition of excellence that he created here, and it will be an honor for us to walk through the clinic doors, under the sign bearing his name, and continue to care for you and your pets in a manner that would make him proud.

We greatly appreciate your thoughts and prayers being extended to his family during this difficult time. Please allow them to grieve together as a family.

With deepest sympathy to his family and friends and all of you whose heart he touched through his care and compassion for your animals,

The Staff of Mulnix Animal Clinic

The family will be sharing Dr. Mulnix’s obituary on Friday, July 24th. They are very thankful for all of the good thoughts and prayers from everyone. This has been a very difficult time for them and everyone that was blessed to have known him. In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate a donation be made to the DVM Class of 1963 Scholarship in his memory.
