We are reopening in phases to allow the safest transition as possible. We will continue to monitor local and state mandates and adjust our protocols accordingly to help keep everyone as safe as we can.
Curbside service will still be available to those who prefer to continue utilizing this option.
Due to the limited space within our clinic and the fact that there are still individuals in the process of being vaccinated or who are unable to do so, we are still strongly requesting that ALL individuals, regardless of vaccine status, wear a mask while in the clinic. We request that there only be ONE person in the clinic with your pet(s) at a time. Please follow the stickers on the floors and above chairs to help direct you to appropriate waiting areas. Please feel free to ask for assistance if you are unsure about anything.
We are limiting the number of clients in the waiting area to 3 people. Please call us from outside when you arrive so we can assist you in a safe and timely manner.
When you arrive for an appointment, please call us at 970-484-1848 so we can get you checked in. We will still be utilizing curbside check in. Please wait either in your car or outside by the planters in front of the clinic until you are requested to come inside for your appointment. Once the customer service representative and nurse have checked you in over the phone and the exam room has been cleaned, you will be brought in to the exam room for your appointment. Currently we will be checking temperatures of clients before allowing you to enter for an appointment.
We will keep everyone updated as protocols change.
If you, or someone in your house, have recently tested positive for Covid-19, are currently awaiting test results, are in quarantine, or are sick or exhibiting any symptoms (fever, cough, not feeling well, or shortness of breath), or have been exposed to a COVID-19 patient, please call 970-484-1848 to reschedule your appointment.

“Curb-side check-in/out” process
-Please call us at 970-484-1848 and let us know you are here for your appointment. We have 3 numbered spaces in front of the clinic to park in when they are available. A nurse will take a complete history from you or review your online exam questionnaire, if you filled that out, over the phone and then go to your car to collect your pet. During inclement weather (rain, snow, or hail) we may ask you to pull up to the curb in front of the clinic for the nurse to collect your pet. You will then be able to go back and park in an available parking space until your pet is ready for pick up. For the safety of everyone the nurse and you are to be wearing masks. Your pet must be either in a carrier or on at least a 6 foot leash when you take them from the car to give to the nurse. The nurse will then bring your pet into the clinic for the doctor to examine. If there are any additional questions or recommendations, the doctor or nurse can call you during the exam. After the exam and treatments are completed the doctor will call you and go over exam findings, we can collect payment over the phone, and the nurse will bring your pet back to your car. Unless otherwise told, please remain on site (outside in your car) so we can get your beloved pet back to you immediately following the exam.
-If your pet is coming in for a surgical procedure the above process still applies. The nurse will take a history from you over the phone. The nurse will have you sign the necessary paperwork and then take your pet into the clinic for the doctor to examine and prepare for the procedure. We will set up a pick up time so the nurse can go over dismissal instructions, medications, and answer any questions you may have. When you arrive at your scheduled pick up time please call 970-484-1848. We can take payment over the phone and then the nurse will go over everything with you and bring your pet out to your car.
If you need to pick up food or medications
-Special food orders for patients are still able to be placed through us. Please order in advance (before your supply runs too low), we have been experiencing some delays in delivery from the manufacturers.
-Please call us at 970-484-1848, we will take payment over the phone and bring out the food or medications to your car
-Please visit our online pharmacy – food and medications can be shipped directly to your house. Ask us for details.
Thank you for your cooperation in helping keep team members and other clients safe. We treasure our relationships with each one of you and this will allow us to stay open and serve you during this time of so much uncertainty. Please feel free to call us with any questions or concerns.

What Our Customers Say About Us
“Dr. Michelle Thomas and the staff at Mulnix Animal Clinic are the best! I've been going there for over eight years and have always received compassionate care for my numerous furkids. They are very accommodating and go above and beyond in the services they provide. First class all the way! I would never consider going anywhere else!”Deb/Fort Collins, COCustomer
“We recently switched to Mulnix and love it! Dr. Gaffney is incredible. They were able to squeeze in my dog today after she tore her nail playing in the backyard. They show great care and concern for my dogs, remember my name, and are very good at explaining procedures and various treatment options! It's a great clinic. The pricing is very reasonable!”Anika/Fort Collins, COCustomer
